An infant needs milk to grow and have strong bones. Adults need supplements to cope with the demands of daily pressures. The elderly generation does brisk walking, dancing and other exercises just to keep moving with whatever strength they have left.
It seems that to be strong is a lifelong equirement that drives men to go through rigorous training and be updated with fitness tips to build muscle.
Muscle is the tissue in the body that causes movement. It can contract and relax in repetition allowing mobility to different parts of the human body.
Its repeated tightening and loosening also allows the pumping of fluids in the body.
Types of Muscles
When I learned that there are three groups of muscle in the human body, this knowledge made it easier for me to understand as to how to build muscles the right way. The cardiac muscle is also known as the heart muscle. It goes without saying that it is found in the heart and is involuntary by nature.
The skeletal muscle or involuntary muscle is hooked to the bone by a fibrous connective tissue which is commonly known as the tendon. This muscle allows the individual to move from one place to another.
The skeletal muscle also sustains the body’s assumption to sit, stand, kneel and recline.
Within the linings of the organs and parts of the esophagus, uterus, intestines, stomach, urethra, bladder blood vessels and hair follicles is the smooth muscle. It cannot be deliberately managed.
Being an involuntary muscle, it can only be stimulated by hormones, drugs and the nervous system with no human intervention.
Strength through Muscle Building
I have always wondered how do some bodybuilders shape their physique and just keep on going. It seemed to be such a tiring, and yes, boring exercise. Nothing but weights, dumbbells and medicine balls for hours or even, all day long. My curiosity got the better of me, so I asked, observed and consulted the experts who have their triceps, biceps and abs to show for it.
Muscles mean physical power. One of the best ways to develop muscles is by lifting free weights. Some might tell you to increase your load on a regular basis to test your improvement. However, I would suggest that you do not. Just keep on lifting what you are lifting and try these methods along with it.
Do compound workouts instead of isolated exercises. These are routines that use weights but build and trigger more than just one group of muscles. I tried to see the logic and science behind it, and it made so much sense when I saw the results.
For that solid and huge back, do deadlifts instead of lat pulldonws. For those sexy biceps, let go of the curls and do barbell rows. Dumbbell flies will not give you a whopping chest better than a bench press. For immense shoulders, it is time to do overhead presses and stop front fraises. Squat your way to strong and bigger legs, kicking off leg extension workouts.
These exercises work simultaneously on several muscles. More fat is burned at a lesser time. Faster burning means quicker results.
